Battery Circuits:

Series

In a series battery set up, the batteries are placed in opposite directions, this will provide a higher Voltage while the current remains the same.

EXAMPLE:

Positive Up, Positive Down, Positive Up. This can be done with any battery, at any amount starting with two or more.

Break Down

Lets say you have 3 batteries, all three are 1000mAh and 1.2V each. This will provide you a total of 3.8V and 1000mAh total. Now, lets say one of the batteries are only putting out 0.6V, your total Voltage would lower to 3.2V and your mAh would not be calculated due to lack of info, causing your device to shut off early.

Parallel

In a parallel battery set up, the batteries are placed in the same direction, this will provide a higher current and handling time, while the voltage remains the same.

EXAMPLE:

Positive Up, Positive Up, Positive Up. This can be done with any battery, at any amount starting with two or more.

Break Down

Lets say you have 3 batteries again, all three are also 1000mAh and 1.2V each. This will provide you a total of 1.2V but a total of 4000mAh. Now, say one of the batteries is putting out 500mAh due to a short, or whatever reason, your volts would remain at 1.2V, but, your run time will be cut short due to lack of mAh. This is also dangerous and should be watched for.

NOTE: Always use the SAME batteries when using two or more batteries. Please make sure all your batteries are in a good healthy condition. Make sure all wraps are in tack, and there is no damage to the wrap. If batteries are getting excessively hot, swelling, or leaking, carefully but immediately remove them. Clean device, and dispose of defective battery immediately.

The most common batteries found when it comes to your Mech-Mods and Box Mods are 18650's. How ever, you can get batteries in these forms as well:

14500

15270

16340

18350

18490

18500

18650

26500

26650

There are plenty more, but again, we are sticking to the most common.

Wire

There are multiple types of wires with many different forms of use. From Nickel for Temperature Controlled Devices, to Kanthal A1 for you typical RBA/RDA/RTA Atomizers. Here are some of the most common wires used.

Power for Standard Vaping:
Kanthal A1
Kanthal A
Kanthal D
NiChrome 80
NiChrome 70
NiChrome 60
SS 316L

Temperature Controlled Wire:
Nickel Ni200
Titanium (surgical grade) Ti1

***WARNING!!!****
NEVER EVER EVER USE WIRES ON THE WRONG DEVICES!!!  PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE DONE RESEARCH ON YOUR WIRES, MODS, COILS, AND SO ON!!!!

Cotton (Wicking)

The choice of cotton you use is going to be a personal preference, as well as how much and how you use the cotton.
There are many types but the most common are the follow:
-Pure Cotton Balls (Un-Bleached! Most common.)

-Bacon Cotton (Pure and "high end")
-Japanese Cotton (Pure and "high end")

-Egyptian Drago Cotton (From Italy and "high end")

-Rayon (Rising trend)

-Ceramic (Least favored)

-Bamboo/Hemp (All Natural Fibers)

-Ko Gen Do Cotton

-Cellu-Cotton

Please check ALL your cotton for pigment, bleach, treatments, and more.  No matter where you buy from, who you know, or for how long.  Even they could miss something on accident, and you could possibly help them if you find something wrong or out of place.  You want PURE, ORGANIC, and CLEAN cotton ONLY!!!

Coils (Pre-made for Tanks)

We will not be listing ALL coil options, since there are ALWAYS new coils and a list of current coils beyond worth counting.  Pre-made coils are used in tanks.  a BRIEF explanation as to how it works;  Purchase Tank, Purchase Coil, Place Coil in Deck of Tank firmly, wet coil with E-Juice, Fill tank, mount deck with wet coil to tank, let soak sitting up right for 30-60 seconds.  Test fire for OHM check.

*AGAIN*  That is a BRIEF explanation!!!  If you are new to vaping, unsure, unaware, or are just studying. VISIT A LOCAL SHOP!!!  The vape community is FULL of shops and even vapers, who are more than willing to assist you.  Vapers love helping other learn and teach people to be safe!  So once more, PLEASE visit a shop before using coils or trying to build your own!!!
